The new VW ID. Tiguan starts in the configurator at 42,695 euros. That puts the electric SUV noticeably above the previous ID.4 level.

VW is now taking orders for the new ID. Tiguan. According to the VW configurator, the electric SUV starts at 42,695 euros and is therefore above the last stated level of the ID.4, whose successor it is; however, the ID.4 remains available as a new vehicle. The entry-level ID. Tiguan comes in the Trend trim level with 140 kW (190 PS) and a 58-kWh battery.

The more powerful variants with 210 kW and 220 kW cannot be combined with the base Trend line, but instead start only from Life. Compared with the ID.4, the price increase is clear: the ID.4 Pure with 140 kW last cost from 40,580 euros, so the new entry point is 2,115 euros higher. In the comparison of the 210-kW version, the price rises from the most recent 46,825 euros for the ID.4 Pro to at least 51,350 euros in the ID. Tiguan. The 220-kW all-wheel-drive variant of the ID.4 Pro was most recently listed at 49,510 euros; in the ID. Tiguan, at least 53,775 euros are due.

Trim lines

Trend already includes navigation, a reversing camera, lane-change assistant, parking exit assistant, exit warning, adaptive cruise control and high-beam assistant, among other features. Life adds alloy wheels, a sensor-controlled tailgate, air conditioning, heated seats, a heated steering wheel and Keyless Access. Style additionally brings IQ.Light, LED tail lights, higher-grade seat covers, 30-color ambient lighting and a heated windscreen.
