BYD announced at the Paris Motor Show an over-the-air update for the assistance systems of European Denza models in 2027. The update concerns the “God's Eye” driver-assistance package and is intended to enable the urban function City Navigation on Driving Assistant, or CNOA. The Denza Z9GT is set to be the first European model to benefit from it; BYD did not name a more precise timing within 2027.

CNOA is described as point-to-point support for dense urban traffic. The vehicles are intended to stop automatically at red traffic lights, give way at roundabout entrances, observe local speed limits, turn, handle intersections and change lanes to get around double-parked vehicles or slow traffic. Cyclists and pedestrians on narrow city streets are also intended to be detected and given priority. Responsibility remains with the driver. No hardware retrofit is said to be necessary because the system uses existing components, including a LiDAR sensor, radar sensors and eleven vehicle cameras.
